WHY ATHENS?

Basel is from Jordan, Sandra is from Lebanon, and we live in Berlin, so choosing a place right in the middle simply made sense (and saved everyone from a very long flight). Porto Rafti has always felt like one of those places where things fall into place naturally. It also happens to be the destination of our very first vacation together.

By the sea, with plenty of sun, a perfect June breeze, and the food we love, it’s the perfect place to celebrate with the people we love most!

Schedule

  • Trip to ancient Athens

    We are planning a group day trip to explore the historic heart of Athens. Together, we will wander through the ancient market, visit the Acropolis, and discover several open-air archaeological sites that bring the city’s long history to life.

    Departure will be from Porto Rafti at 10:30. Return will be at 17:00 from Plaka to Porto Rafti.

    Please RSVP for this trip so we can plan accordingly.

    Greek BBQ & Ouzo

    In the evening, we’ll gather for a relaxed Greek beach BBQ in Porto Rafti.

    • Time: 8:00 PM – 11:00 PM

    After Party

    For those who wish to continue the celebration, we’ll head to a nearby bar/club for some music and drinks.

  • To Be Announced

    We’re planning something relaxed and easy for Thursday, and details will be shared soon. What we can promise is that it will be a simple outing, thoughtfully organized by our wonderful best men and bridesmaids.

    It’s meant to be a casual way to spend time together, explore a bit, and ease into the celebrations.
